Well my opinion is that this "economic crisis" is not only an issue for Greece, or even for Europe. It is an issue for the whole capitalistic system which now faces its end. A whole system of buying and selling things stands up on fake amounts of money and fake needs. Of course the countries that face now bigger economic problems are the ones that will pay the dysfunction of this "bubble" system, but let me say that the future about Greece will not be any worse than the future for the whole economical world.

This second loan is just like when a person in Africa is hungry but keeps purchasing coca-cola. When someone owes to the bank a certain amount of money an goes to another bank(or even the same one) to get another loan to pay back for the first one. And the question is, how did we get here, why did we even get the first loan. We were obligated you know. Not that we didn't work enough like other Europeans. We are a part of Europe, we are obligated to be a part of its capitalistic system, THEY (who now say that we owe them) were giving us money -knowing that we could never pay them back- just because they were and even now are in absolute need of us buying their capitalistic life. That is the same for every country and it will have the same effect in every country eventually.

Now, about what is happening here in Greece and in Thessaloniki. Let 's always have in mind that people here are not used to partcipate in any other way of social action, othet than voting in the elections every 4 years. Is it enough? People now understand that it never was or will be enough. People now try to participate more and control their own life. But is it possible to change into a person u never were in just one year of economic pressure? It will take a lot of years of struggle and fight for people to realise they must be politically and socially active.

Here in Thessaloniki, we will need even more time. You know why! Cause the city is beautiful, the weather is wonderful, the economical concequences will come up here rather slowly(?).So as long we have money to go for a coffee we are ok! I am being ironic here!

People tend to be "slow-minded" cause they never had the opportunity to be something else. Now the opportunity is the capitalistic world's curse: "How can everyone be equal when your whole life is about who's best?"
